Seth Alcorn
(Dr. Spivey)
is
pleased to return to Firebelly Productions.
He recently performed in their production of
To Kill a Mockingbird as the nasty
Bob Ewell. Cuckoo’s Nest is
Seth's fourth show in the Washington
Metropolitan Area after moving here from
Orange County, California, where he was,
oddly enough, not a rich kid from Huntington
Beach, but an acting major at California
State University @ Fullerton.

Joe Angel Babb
(Chief Bromden)
is a native Texan who moved to Capitol Hill
two years ago to be the Community Programs
Manager for the Shakespeare Theatre Company.
This production with Firebelly Productions
marks Joe Angel’s stage debut in Virginia.
He was most recently seen in A Midsummer
Night’s Dream at St. Mark’s Players and
is a new member of the 2006-07 acting
ensemble of the Landless Theatre Company in
Washington, D.C. As an instructor, Joe
Angel has led acting, improv, and
playwriting workshops and residencies for
the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Alley
Theatre, C.G. Jung Center of Houston,
BoarsHead Theatre, Lansing Community
College, and Dallas Theater Center. He holds
an M.F.A. from the University of Houston and
a B.A. from Our Lady of the Lake
University.

Chris Culosi
(Aide Warren)
joins Firebelly Productions once
again. His stage experience includes George/Barkeep in My Fair Lady,
Dogberry in Much Ado about Nothing, Benny Southstreet in Guys and
Dolls, Arthur Goring in An Ideal Husband, Mr. Spettigue in Where’s
Charley, William Gillette in Postmortem, and Riff in West Side
Story.
Christopher has recently performed at George Mason University’s
Black Box Theatre and has been in several public service films.
Wisacres in Tysons’ Corner has been a venue for his stand-up comedy.
He dedicates this performance to his best friend and big “Bruthaa,”
Sal. |

Dave Daniels
(Billy Bibbit)
is thrilled to be at Firebelly for the first
time. In one year at Emory and Henry College
Dave acted in Servant of Two Masters,
Burn This!, Weekend Quartet, The Bald
Soprano, Lovers and Other Strangers, Woyzeck,
The Dining Room, True West, Learning to
Drive, and The Odd Couple. His
favorite role is Mercutio in Romeo and
Juliet. Dave is taking next year off and
is looking forward to auditioning for acting
conservatories later this year.

Jeffrey Davis
(Martini)
makes his Firebelly debut. Jeff has
performed in numerous musicals in the past.
Favorite roles include Nathan Detroit in
Guys & Dolls, Moonface Martin & Sir
Evelyn in Anything Goes (not at the
same time), and Captain Hook in Peter Pan.Other
favorites in straight shows are Christopher
Wren in the Mousetrap, Carlino in
Wait until Dark, and Mrs. Chumley in
Harvey (don’t ask!). This fall he plays
Felix Unger in The Odd Couple at the
Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre in
Frederick, Maryland.

Joshua Drew
(Dale Harding)
returns to Firebelly with two Firebelly Productions in his
resume: Sigmund in Conversing Elevens,
part of Firebelly’s New Playwright project
staged at Theatre on the Run in Arlington and
Hong Kong’s Faust International Festival, and
as Paul Singer in Ken Ludwig’s Moon over
Buffalo. Other credits include young Patron,
Five by Tenn, at the Kennedy Center and
The Boy/Ensemble (swing) in The Silent Woman
for the Shakespeare Theatre, Steve Culverhouse
in the Glory of Living for Didactic
Theatre Company; Frederick Ellis, The Autumn
Garden, Bomber, Picnic for The
American Century Theatre, Jean Bilodeau,
Lilies produced by Actor’s Theatre of
Washington; and Victor, Four Dogs and a Bone
for Bohemian Acting Company. Josh graduated from
Iowa State University with a degree in
Acting/Directing.

Suzanne Edgar
(Candy Starr)
is happy to be making her Firebelly debut. Recently, she
toured the DC area with the Young Playwrights Theater. She has also
been seen off Broadway in The Bridge Street Jumpers and in
several local plays at Classika Theater. You can catch her
on upcoming episodes of Court TV’s Psychic Detectives and
Missing Persons Unit. Suzanne studied at the Catholic
University of America and the Marymount-Fordham London Dramatic
Academy.

Lauren Antonia
Griffin
(Nurse Flinn/Sandra)
appeared in Firebelly's
Moon
over Buffalo
(Eileen), the children's show Magikal Theater, performing at
the National Theater in Washington, D.C., and To Kill a
Mockingbird (Miss Stephanie). Lauren is a graduate of The
National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, where she appeared in A
Midsummer Night's Dream (Titania), An Enemy of the People
(Catherine), and Book of Days (Ruth). Other shows include
A Christmas Carol (Fan Scrooge/Martha Cratchit) at the West End
Dinner Theater, Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), Much Ado
About Nothing (Hero), The Fantasticks (Luisa), Where's
Charley? (Donna Lucia D'Alvadorez), and An Ideal Husband
(Gertrude). Lauren spends most of her time getting handcuffed by
"feds" at law enforcement training academies. |

Bryan Lee Huynh
(Scanlon)
is currently the Resident Teaching Artist at the Shakespeare Theatre
Company. A 2002 graduate of Ithaca College’s Acting Program, he
spent two years as a resident company member at Jean Cocteau
Repertory Company in New York before moving to the Washington area.
Memorable roles include Westmoreland et al, Henry V;
Crookfinger Jake, The Threepenny Opera; Edmund, King Lear;
and Demetrius, Titus Andronicus. He is pleased to be involved
in his first production with Firebelly Productions. |

Mitch Irzinski
(Ruckley)
is delighted to be working with Kathi, Barbara, and Firebelly
again. Mitch most recently appeared as Walter Cunningham/Clerk
in Firebelly's To Kill a Mockingbird. Previous credits
include Take Stock at the Kennedy Center's Fourth
Annual Page to Stage New Play Festival, staged readings of
Irma and Isadora, Value Mart and Murder Speaks,
Though It Hath No Tongue for the Washington Playwrights
Forum, and Firebelly's Evening of Scenes (2004). Mitch
continues his acting studies with Kathi Gollwitzer.

Francisco Reinoso
(Cheswick)
makes his Firebelly Productions debut with
in Cuckoo’s Nest. Other local theatre
credits include Alice in Wonderland,
Spooky Action Theatre; The Royal Hunt of
the Sun, Washington Shakespeare Company;
Cigarettes and Moby Dick, Venus
Theatre; Ivanov, Far Away, The
Life of Galileo (u/s), The Studio
Theatre; and The Galileo Project,
Polaroid Stories (u/s), The Studio
Theatre Secondstage. Other credits include
Our Town, A Midsummer Nights Dream,
Shakespeare Santa Cruz; Tales of the Lost
Formicans, City Lights Theater Company;
and The Merchant of Venice, San Jose
Shakespeare Festival. His film credits
include Standalone. Francisco
received his training from Santa Clara
University and The Studio Theatre Acting
Conservatory.

Kelley
Slagle
(Nurse Ratched)
is absolutely thrilled to be part of this
production. Recently, she won an Outstanding
Performance Award for her portrayal of
murderess Karla Faye Tucker in Occam's
Razor. In addition to acting in indie
film, tv/commercials, and industrials,
Kelley's theatre credits include Zubaida Ula/Cathy
Connolly in The Laramie Project, Inez
Serrano in Ellipsis (an adaptation of
No Exit), and Feste in Twelfth
Night. She has also had great success
directing/producing short films with her
company Cavegirl Productions. Her film
FELT: Tearing the Fabric of America won
Best Mockumentary in the National Film
Challenge and was in the top ten of more

Dan VanHoozer
(Randle.P. McMurphy)
most recently was an assistant director at
Washington Shakespeare Company’s The
Children’s Hour. He also appeared as an
actor at Washington Shakespeare Company’s
Richard II. In the past few years, he
has participated in the Madcap Player’s
Winter Carnival Festival, Washington
Shakespeare Company’s Bard-37 play reading
series as a director and actor, and played
Adam in The Shape of Things and Iago
in Othello for Tapestry Theatre
Company in Virginia.
