synopsis
Firebelly Productions
presents the great American classic Of Mice and Men, by John
Steinbeck. Set against the backdrop
of the Great Depression, George and Lennie are determined to buy a small farm of
their own after years of toiling and surviving as itinerant workers. In their travels
to find work, the two discover the flip side of their American dream, and
their unique friendship is put to the ultimate test.
Steinbeck's Of Mice and
Men is on nearly every high school reading list; students are encouraged to
attend as a great opportunity to "live" the classic.
After performances
Question-and-Answer sessions are available for groups of student of five or
more.
