synopsis

Firebelly Productions presents the great American classic Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck.  Set against the backdrop of the Great Depression, George and Lennie are determined to buy a small farm of their own after years of toiling and surviving as itinerant workers.  In their travels to find work, the two discover the flip side of their American dream, and their unique friendship is put to the ultimate test.

Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men is on nearly every high school reading list; students are encouraged to attend as a great opportunity to "live" the classic.

After performances Question-and-Answer sessions are available for groups of student of five or more.

Featuring: David Cahill, Phillip James Brannon, Paul Danaceau, Michael J. Fulvio, Elizabeth Chomko, Chris Carroll, Nicholas Yenson, Michael Eggleston, Jim Shirey and Bernie Cohen. Directed by Kathi Gollwitzer. Produced by Barbara Walthall.
