David Cahill (George
Milton), a recent graduate of the American University
(B.A. Communications: Visual Media / Theatre Minor), is delighted to be in his second Firebelly Production. David's most recent role
was in Firebelly's Lend Me a Tenor as
Tito Merelli. He appeared in Omaemoda's production of Oscar and Adonis
(Oscar Wilde) and Dead Poets (Christopher Marlowe) at the DCAC. Previous
productions at AU include The Glass Menagerie (Tom Wingfield), A
Midsummer Night's Dream (Demetrius) and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (RP
McMurphy), for which he was nominated for an ACTF Irene Ryan Award. Film experience
includes A Young Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court as Clarence,
opposite Michael York. David would like to thank the entire cast and crew for
their hard work and tremendous talent, his family for their undying love and
support, and Kathi and Barbara for giving him this wonderful
opportunity. |

Phillip James Brannon
(Lennie Small) is an upcoming 3rd year BFA Acting Major at
The Theatre School, DePaul University in Chicago. Most recently Phillip appeared
in a staged reading of a new play, Without/Sin, by Yale University
playwright, Tarell McCraney. Some of his favorite roles in the past include a
bellhop in The Coconuts, at The Little Theatre of Alexandria last Spring,
Cosmo in Singin' in the Rain, Chief Bromden in One Flew over the
Cuckoo's Nest, and Action in West Side Story. This is Phillip's first
show with Firebelly Productions. He gives many thanks to family, friends, the
producer, and beloved director. |

Paul Danaceau (Candy)
has worked at theatres in
Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and DC. His most recent performances were as
Dimitri Weismann in the Signature Theatre production of Follies, which
ran 63 performances this past spring, and as Malvolio in Twelfth Night at
the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company in Baltimore. Last summer he played Alfred P.
Doolittle in My Fair Lady at the Shawnee (Pa.) Playhouse. Other dramatic
roles include Friar Laurence (Romeo and Juliet); Rabbi Azriel (A
Dybbuk); and Eddie (Conversations with My Father). Musical roles
include Narrator/Mysterious Man (Into the Woods); Mushnik (Little Shop
of Horrors) and Herr Schultz (Cabaret) A former newspaper and radio
journalist as well as Washington, DC public affairs consultant, he returned to
acting as a full-time activity when he retired. He is happy to have found the
fountain of youth at Firebelly Productions. |

Bernie Cohen (The Boss)
last appeared with Signature
Theatre as Sam Deems in Follies and at Adventure Theatre in the title
role of Tales from the Rebbe's Table. He has played the Shopkeeper in
Little Shop of Horrors, Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, the Eastern
European Juror in 12 Angry Men, and Chuckles in A Thousand Clowns,
among other roles. He has appeared in a dozen Hexagon shows, which is his home
base. He directed Guys & Dolls, which the Washington Post compared to
a "little masterpiece." A one-act play her directed for the Silver Spring Stage
was a finalist in the Maryland State Festival and he directs readings for the
Playwright's Forum. Bernie was the voice of a Russian submarine captain for the
documentary The Sinking of the Kursk, which was recently broadcast on the
National Geographic Channel, and acts in training videos for the federal
government. He has sung with the Baltimore Symphony and sings with, and is the
MC for, the Slavic Male Chorus of Washington. |

Michael J. Fulvio
(Curley) is a junior theatre major at American
University in Washington, DC. He was most recently seen in Firebelly Production's
Lend Me a Tenor as Henry Saunders. He also appeared in Songs for a New World at
American was a member the Washington Savoyard's production of The Gondoliers.
Last September Michael was featured in Streets of America on the Millennium
Stage during the Kennedy Center's Page-To-Stage Festival and was a member of the
cast of American University's Evita. Last year he was seen on American
University's stage as Flute/Thisbe in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and as
Henry in The Fantasticks. Michael is also serving as Technical Director for AU
Players. |

Elizabeth Chomko (Curley's
Wife) currently attends American
University, very patiently anticipating graduation in May 2004 with a double
degree in theatre and philosophy. She has appeared in several mainstage
productions at AU, and has studied acting at the American Conservatory Theatre
in San Francisco, the city she has finally decided to call home, and at the
British American Dramatic Academy in London. She is, alongside her role as
Curley's wife, currently working on a writing project to combine her passions: a
pseudo-creative- philosophical-feminist reading of Shakespeare's Taming of the
Shrew. She is also revising an original one-act play to be read at the
Kennedy Center as part of their annual new play festival in September. Many
thanks to Kathi for her trust and her ideas on this play's lonely little
girl. |

Chris Carroll
(Slim) joins Firebelly Productions for the first time.
His other roles have included Lord Douglas /Shaxpeare in Dead Poets and
Boy in Eat Your Hearts Out at Omaemoda Theatre, Doctor Pinch in Comedy
of Errors at Little Theatre of Alexandria, Steve/Waiter in Café
Menage at Mayhem Theatre. He also appeared in the Source Theatre's
production of Cats Don't Come When You Call Them and in Stanislavski
Theatre's The Shadow as The Shadow. At American University, he played
Harding in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Catesby in Richard
III, and several other roles. He is a recurring cast member on television's
That's Not Funny, That's Sick, has served as director, producer, and
technical director of other productions. Chris thanks everyone involved in this
production, especially Kathi, for this opportunity. |

Michael Eggleston
(Whit) is proud and excited to be performing in his
first Firebelly production. Michael's credits include grade school performances
in the Shakespearean Festival, in such roles as Trinculo in The Tempest
and Shylock in The Merchant of Venice. This year, Michael tried his luck
with musicals, performing in the Gonzaga College High School Dramatic
Association's critically acclaimed production of Oklahoma! Michael would
like to thank his Mom, Dad, and sister Taylor for their support and
transportation to and from rehearsals. He would like to thank the cast, crew,
director, and producer of Of Mice and Men for welcoming him into the Firebelly
family as well as for their guidance, patience, and support. |

Luigi Canlas
(Crooks) appeared in May as the ever-singing Bellhop in
Firebelly's Lend Me a Tenor. In November he played the triple roles of
Tom/Phyllis/Leslie in Firebelly's production of Sylvia at Theatre on the
Run. During a scene night last August, he played the role of Crooks
from the play Of Mice and Men. He also took part in a benefit performance
where he played a role in the children's theatre, Magic Theatre. This
past winter he performed in a show called The Sentimental Journey, where he
played a dancing/singing gangster, "Chauncey Chan." He also has had roles in
West Side Story and Singin' in the Rain, and played the role of
Cheswick in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Luigi is a senior at Bishop
O'Connell High School in Arlington. |

Jim Shirey (Tucker
the Ranch Hand) is an incoming freshman at Bishop O'Connell High
School. In his most recent stage appearance, he portrayed Shylock in The
Merchant of Venice at the Arlington Diocesan Shakespeare Festival this past
spring. This is his first role with Firebelly Productions. He lives in
Arlington. |

Rocky
Gollwitzer (Candy's Dog) is
delighted to be making his debut performance with Firebelly
Productions. Most recently, Rocky was seen Lying
Around the Kitchen of the Gollwitzer home. In
his free time, Rocky enjoys sleeping in obscene positions or
engaging in his true passion, Garbage Art; a process
whereby Rocky skillfully selects items of trash and
carefully places them on the floor, creating a "garbage
mosaic." His pioneering work can be seen
at the Guggenheim, the Corcoran and the Louvre. His
only wish is that his family will one day recognize
and appreciate his art. |
