Kirsten Benjamin (Marta), a native Detroiter and graduate of the University of Michigan's department of theatre and drama, is happy to be working with Firebelly for the first time. She was most recently seen in The Capital Fringe Festival's Take Care Ted and numerous productions of Suzan Lori Parks 365 plays in 365 days. Kirsten is proud to have been able to witness how this project almost seamlessly fell together.

Patrick Flannery (Kurt) is a recent high school graduate and happy to be making his professional debut with Firebelly. Patrick’s future plans include continuing as Firebelly’s Acting Apprentice for the 2007-08 season and preparing for conservatory training in the fall of 2008. Patrick is excited to be a part of this creative ensemble project.

Meg Glassco (Stage Manager) is entering her senior year at TC Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia, where she has been involved in theatre for four years. She has acted, directed, and assisted with more than 20 productions through school and other groups in the Washington, DC area.

Christina Powell (Production Assistant/ Media Intern)  is entering her junior year at East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina, where she is a majoring in communications. Christina develops some new communications strategies for Shelter as well as the fall production, Nothing Sacred.

Kathi Gollwitzer (Director/Artistic Director) an educator for the Washington Theater League Legacy Project, Kathi also coaches professionals and students seeking admission to audition-based conservatory programs. Her students are graduates of NYU Tisch, the Syracuse Musical Theater Program, The DePaul Theatre School, SUNY Purchase College Conservatory of Theater Arts and Film, and The Juilliard School of Acting.

Ali Miller (Director/Firebelly Associate Artist) most recently directed Dust at Imagination Stage after directing Proof this past fall for Firebelly. Miss Miller learned playbuilding as a Teaching Artist for Arena Stage, where she is currently teaching playbuilding for their summer camp.
